Dörnyei

I use statistics, data science, and a bit of AI to understand how institutions actually behave — from democratic backsliding in Hungary to the World Bank's household surveys. Currently an LSMS Survey Innovation Fellow at the World Bank and an M.P.P. candidate at Yale's Jackson School.

Where I've worked

2022 — now

Research and analyst roles across development, environment, and governance — the common thread is turning messy real-world data into something a decision-maker can act on.

Founder

Sterling Admissions · sterlingadmissions.com

Founded a mentoring company that pairs students applying to top US universities with recent admits for weekly 1:1 guidance — application strategy, essays, activity lists, and school selection. Built from my own experience getting into Yale from Hungary without a college counselor.
